We can register your domain name on your behalf which will become your unique address on the World Wide Web. Having your own domain name does not suggest that you are renting web space, and, since Email can be addressed to your domain (eg. yourdomain.com.au) you will not have to announce a new email address if you ever change internet providers.

Yes. You can Check the Availability of a Domain from the AUNIC web site, for Domain Names within Australia. You can check the availability of American Domain Names from the InterNIC.

Do You Handle Domain Registrations ?

Absolutely! Once you have submitted your order we will contact the relevant domain registration body to request either a new domain name registration or transfer of your existing domain on your behalf.

Can I register A Domain Name Myself ?

Yes. Once you submitted your order we will email you our nameserver details so you are able to complete the Domain Name registration details. If you register the Domain Name yourself, we will not charge you the Domain registration fee.

Can I Transfer An Existing Domain To Your Servers?

Yes! Many of our customers have transferred domains to our servers. When you place an order, be sure to specify that you are requesting a transfer and NOT a new domain. In some cases, you may have to contact the domain registration body yourself requesting the transfer of the domain. If this happens, we will notify you and assist you in doing so.

How Long Does It Take To Setup A New Account ?

Orders will generally be processed by us as soon as they are received and are usually setup within 24 hours. Once an account is set up a WEB SPACE CONFIRMATION notice will be sent you via E-mail including your login information, password, FTP hostname, etc. You can begin uploading files to your new virtual hosting account immediately. You will be given a temporary URL to access your site via the web prior to the completion of either domain registration or transfer. You will be sent details of our nameservers for Domain registration purposes if you are registering a Domain Name yourself.

What Methods Of Payment Do You Accept ?

We accept all major Credit Cards - Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard. We also accept Bank Transfers and International Cheques or Money Orders made out in Australian Dollars. If you are not paying by Credit Card, we only accept payments by other methods in a minimum of 3 month increments.

Is There A Minimum Contract ?

No. You are not committed to a minimum contract. You are welcome to pay by the month and have no further commitment. You do however have the option of paying by the year and enjoy one month hosting for free.

Do You Offer A Money Back Guarantee ?

Yes. If after 30 days from the purchase of your package, you are not satisfied with the level of service that we offer and you notify us of this within this time period, we will gladly refund the setup fees of your account as well as the fees for the hosting, whether it be for a monthly or an annual payment.


Please note that any domain registration fees are not subject to our refund policy.

Please also note that we cannot be held responsible for exchange rate fluctuations when refunding money.

About Our Packages

Can I Move From One Package To Another ?

Yes. You are quite welcome to upgrade, downgrade or move from one package to another at any time. You will be charged a $55 setup fee for each move.

Can I Resell Space Within My Package ?

Yes. You can resell space within your account. However, you will be responsible for its content. You will also be responsible for all billing and support of your clients.

Please Note: You cannot have multiple domain names pointing to the same folder, directory or space on the server.

Do You Accept International Orders ?

Absolutely! We have customers in over 40 countries using our web hosting packages. If desired, we can host domain name extensions from any country. Please make sure you choose the correct top-level registry in our online order form.

Do You Allow Adult Orientated Web Sites ?

We do not allow pornographic or illegal gambling sites under any circumstances. If we are made aware of any such adult orientated web site on our servers, we will disable the account immediately.

Do You Allow Spamming ?

Absolutely not! We do not allow spamming under any circumstances. If it is brought to our attention that spamming has occurred, we will terminate the account immediately. It doesn't matter if you use our mail servers to spam or if you hire a company to do it for you.

How Often Can I Update My Pages ?

You are welcome to update your pages as often as you like. You can use encrypted telenet and FTP 24 hours a day 7 days a week if you like. We do not charge any additional fees for this.

What Are Log Files ?

Log files track each request made to your website. They record information such as time and date of request,remote host and the file accessed. Perhaps the most useful record it keeps is the URL of the page that referred your web site.

Please Note: Information from Log files are automatically converted by our reporting system, WEBTRENDS, into meaningful information and provided to all customers free of charge.

What Is An Auto responder ?

An Auto responder will automatically reply to any email sent to a particular address. For example, you may have an Auto responder for the address of auto@yourname.com. Any email sent to this address will automatically be replied to by a robot. The robot will send back a preset message. This is useful for creating "request more information" Email addresses.

What Is SETUID CGI ?

Normally when CGI is run it is run as user www. This user has no special privileges on the system and cannot do tasks such as write to files owned by another user. SETUID CGI enables CGI to be executed by the user that owns the CGI program so it will be able to do accomplish tasks such as writing to files owned by you. If you use Microsoft Frontpage to create and publish Web Sites you will require the Frontpage Extensions on your Web Hosting Account. They enable the server to communicate with Microsoft Frontpage. What Is Real Audio/Video ?

Real Audio/Video is a plugin for Netscape Navigator. It allows streaming audio and video to be transferred live over the Internet. If you have developed Real files and plan to use them on the Internet you will require a Real Audio/Video server.

What Is A Secure Server ?

This is used so that confidential credit card information can be submitted from a web browser to our server in an encrypted format so that a third party cannot track the details, should they attempt to.

How Do I Check How Much Disk Space I Have Used ?

LINUX USERS :
1) Login to the linux server using your primary log in details.
2) Type "cd /web/username" then press [enter]
3) Type "du -s ." then press [enter]

Note: a) The . after the s
b) username is the corresponding username.


You will get a number back which is the Kilobytes used.

What Is A POP E-mail Account ?

A POP E-mail account is simply an E-mail box that you can connect to using a Username and Password. This E-mail address would not be redirected anywhere else. POP is the abbreviation for the term "Post Office Protocol"

What Is E-mail Aliasing ?

All of our web hosting packages have a standard feature called "Unlimited E-mail Aliasing" set up with the initial account. This means that you will receive all email sent to your domain, regardless of the address it was sent to. Here is an example:

Lets say that your domain name is xyz.com.au. All mail sent to www.xyz.com.au would be forwarded to your primary POP account. If your primary POP account was xyz@xyz.com.au, you would then also receive mail for:
info@xyz.com.au
sales@xyz.com.au
webmaster@xyz.com.au
john@xyz.com.au
bill@xyz.com.au
tim.jones@xyz.com.au

etc...

If you had 2 POP email accounts, everything would be sent to your primary POP account EXCEPT the address of your second POP account. Remember, this is already set up when we set up the account so you do not need to request this. This feature can be incorporated with E-mail forwarding. See below.

What Is E-mail Forwarding ?

E-mail forwarding is the process of automatically forwarding mail sent to a particular email address to a different email address. You could forward mail from your domain to the email address you have with your current Internet access service provider. Below is an example:

Lets say that you have dial in access account with an Internet service provider the email address of bill@acme.com.au. If you had a domain name of yourcompany.com.au and an email address of bill@yourcompany.com.au, we could set up all mail sent to bill@yourcompany.com.au to be automatically sent to bill@acme.com.au. This would relieve you of having to change your email settings to get mail from both your domain and your access service provider.

Can I Register A .com.au Domain Name If I Don't Have A Registered Business ?

No. You must have a registered business with a valid BRN/ACN/RBN/ABN in order to register a .com.au domain name. Your domain should be directly derived from your business name.

No. Your domain will be put in a queue with other domains waiting for approval. This should be approved, however, within 24 to 48 hours of being applied for.
